Things I've built and contributed to
Moviecrates — AI Movie Recommender
Built a multi-user movie recommendation platform with Next.js/React frontend and Spring Boot REST API backed by PostgreSQL + pgvector; containerized with Docker and deployed to Azure Container Apps. Engineered stateless Google OAuth2 auth issuing httpOnly JWT cookies, strict per-user repository boundaries to structurally eliminate IDOR risks, prompt-injection defenses, and per-user sliding-window rate limiting.
Automated Healthcare System
Built a full-stack healthcare platform with React.js, Node.js, Express, and MongoDB featuring doctor appointment booking, pharmacy cart, blood donor search, and emergency ambulance services. Implemented JWT-based authentication with bcrypt password hashing, role-based access control, and Cloudinary image uploads. Integrated Google Gemini, ChromaDB vector store, Tesseract OCR, and a multi-format document parser for medical search.
AI-Powered Learning Platform
Developed a university course assistant with AI-powered tutoring and intelligent content search using LangChain and vector embeddings. Engineered a FastAPI backend with Supabase (PostgreSQL) and row-level security, supporting real-time updates and separate portals for students and instructors.
MemeGrove — Social Media Platform
Designed and built a full-featured social platform from scratch with user authentication, image upload pipeline using Intervention Image, likes, comments, following system, and real-time event-driven notifications. Implemented a custom trending algorithm combining engagement metrics with time decay, tag analytics, and infinite scroll.
